Is the cooling system inspection really free?
Yes. We check coolant level and condition, inspect the radiator, hoses, water pump, thermostat and fans, pressure test the system and send photos — at no charge and with no obligation.
Why does it only overheat in traffic?
Usually the cooling fans. At highway speed airflow cools the radiator on its own; sitting still, the fans have to do the work.
Why is my heater blowing cold?
Often the same fault that causes overheating — low coolant, a stuck thermostat or a blocked heater core. Worth checking together.
How long does cooling system repair take?
Hoses, thermostats, radiators and water pumps are usually completed the same day. Head gasket work takes longer and we will tell you up front.
Can I just add water instead of coolant?
In an emergency, briefly. Water alone boils sooner, freezes in winter and does not protect against corrosion, so it is a get-home measure rather than a repair.
