An honest word about recharges

A recharge on its own is temporary. Air conditioning is a sealed system, so if it is low, the refrigerant is going somewhere.   • Can you just recharge it?

    We can, but if it is low there is a leak, and a recharge alone will not last. We would rather find it and tell you what the real repair costs.

  • Why did it work fine last summer?

    AC systems lose refrigerant slowly through seals and connections. A leak that was unnoticeable last year becomes obvious once the heat arrives.

  • How long does it take?

    Most AC repairs are same day. A compressor replacement sometimes runs into a second day depending on parts.

  • Can you get me home while it is being worked on?

  • Why does my AC smell?

    Usually bacteria on the evaporator or a clogged cabin filter. Both are inexpensive and we will show you which it is.
