What the light means

What it costs
The free scan tells you which system reported a fault, and it costs you nothing here. The full diagnosis is separate work — usually an hour or more of a technician testing that system with live data and a scope to find the part that actually failed. There is a charge for it, we quote it before we begin, and nothing happens until you approve it. We charge for it because it stands on its own: the findings are yours in writing, and you are free to take them anywhere. What is the difference between the free scan and the paid diagnosis?

How long does it take?
Most diagnoses are same day. Intermittent faults sometimes take longer and we will say so up front.
